Family[]
Alice Leywin[]
Having been birthed from her, Arthur obviously cares about his mother immensely, truly feeling as if she was his mother despite his previous life due to his lack of parental love. Arthur would do almost anything for his family, including his mother, which was seen when he willingly felll off an extremely high cliff in order to protect his mother, almost leading to his death. Nevertheless, he survived the fall and later was able to communicate with his mother and father through Rinia’s help. Upon hearing Arthur’s voice, they both burst into tears due to them thinking that he was death until then.
Due to the fact that Arthur seemingly always comes home either bruised or injured, his mother worries about him constantly whenever he is out of the house.
After being told about his previous life and Arthur promptly leaving to train, their relationship deteriorated. However, she continued to try to come to terms with it. Even after Arthur came back from his training several years later, she seemed to not have completely come to terms with it, but has accepted him to a degree. Following his father's death, Arthur believed that if he were to go to his mother and sister, they would blame him for his inability to fulfill his promise to keep them safe, causing him to avoid them. However, after finally meeting them again,[1] his mother's reaction to him was the opposite, being glad to have been reunited with him after being apart for so long and they finally made up. She was nearly broken beyond repair after Arthur's apparent death, but somehow managed to move on with her life for Ellie‘s sake. However, after he returns from Alacrya to save them from Taci, she at first couldn’t believe that he was back due to the change in his features, but when he smiles like his father does, she breaks down in tears and is happy to have him back.
Reynolds Leywin[]
Arthur's relationship with his father was one of a normal father and son relationship. His father was incredibly proud of him, having birthed a prodigy in the family. Like Alice, Reynolds also cried after finally knowing that his son was safe. After being told about Arthur's previous life, Reynolds began to doubt whether or not Arthur was his son or a man who stole the life of his to-be-born son. However, after some thought, he began to accept it and was the one to help Alice come to terms with the news they had just received. After Arthur's return, he was embraced by Reynolds, who had already accepted Arthur's past life and Arthur as a son. After Arthur became a Lance, he and Reynolds conflicted frequently over their role in the war. Arthur wanted his parents to stay safe in the war, but Reynolds wanted to fight and serve Dicathen on the battlefield. Reynolds called Arthur a hypocrite, considering that Arthur has to fight in the war but won't let him and Alice fight. Arthur knows that he can't shackle his parents, but his selfishness for his loved ones stops him from admitting that. They met for the final time at The Wall, where Reynolds died to a mana beast. After the death of Reynolds, Arthur broke down, turning from a strong general to a mere boy who had just lost his father. Arthur regrets not having the chance to say goodbye to his father. Even after Reynolds passed away, Arthur always regarded him as the only person to ever love him as a father.
Eleanor Leywin[]
Eleanor Leywin is Arthur's younger sister. She is four years younger than him except for a period of 3 months, where the age gap is shortened to 3 years. His sister's personality could be described as innocent as a little kid, shown by the fact that she repeated the curse her father, shouted after hearing about his son's progress despite not knowing what said curse meant or that it was bad to say. Eleanor essentially grew up without her brother since Arthur was always gone. Thus when he returned from training with the Asuras, Arthur was disheartened to see Eleanor had lost most of her innocence as a girl growing up in a war. Eleanor cherished whatever time she spent with Arthur since she knew it won't be long before he leaves again. After Arthur's apparent "death", Eleanor matured significantly. She initially hated Tess as she held her responsible for Arthur and Sylvie's death. She misses her deceased father and brother, and vows to take care of her mother in their absence.
It was revealed that Eleanor always knew of Arthur's reincarnation. She overheard her mother and her father arguing over Arthur and figured out her brother wasn't from her world. She still loved him regardless of his past and accepted him for who he was. After he returns from Alacrya to save them from Taci, she instantly recognized and embraced him in tears after he defeats Taci.

After Arthur argued with his parents, Jasmine came to comfort him. She is one of, if not, the Twin Horn member closest to Arthur. Friends[]
Sylvia[]
Sylvia is a mother/grandmother/guardian figure for Arthur. They met in the cave after Sylvia instructed the young Arthur to her. She wanted someone to talk to and take care of Arthur; she even risked her life to make a portal to send him home. In the end, she was discovered by the Vritra and taken away. She was a kind person, and the only compensation (and possibly her last wish) she asked for risking her life was for Arthur to call her Grandma. Her fate is sealed as it was confirmed that she was killed by Cadell, however, her legacy continues to persist in the form of Arthur who contains her beast will, and Sylvie, her only child raised by Arthur. She was a significant component in shaping Arthur into who he is as a person as she made him promise her to become a better person than in his past life. Sylvia has hidden a secret message into Arthur's beast will, which he would be able to hear when reaching the stage beyond white core, the integration stage, revealing the truth about Agrona and Kezess's conflict, and the genocide of the ancient mages. Because of Kezess's betrayal then, he swore to make him pay for everything done to him, Sylvia, Sylvie, his family but also countless innocent people that were sacrificed as a collateral damage in the conflict. Later on, he avenges her by killing Cadell in the Victoriad.
Sylvie[]
Sylvie is Arthur's bond and his companion. Sylvie can talk freely with Arthur using her mental bond and they both can feel each others emotions, but only Sylvie can hear Arthur's thoughts. Sylvie was always with Arthur and considers Arthur as her father. Sylvie was raised by Arthur and they both have a deep bond and a caring relationship that cannot be described in words.
Arthur later found out from Windsom that Sylvia, Sylvie's mother is the princess of the Indrath clan and Sylvie is the granddaughter of Kezess Indrath, the Lord of the Indrath clan and King of the Asuras.
After the incident at Xyrus Academy, Sylvie's true form of a Dragon was revealed to the public and later both Arthur and Sylvie were imprisoned by the Lances due to excessive violence shown against Lucas Wykes. They were both later rescued by Windsom and taken to Epheotus afterward.
During Arthur's time at Epheotus, Sylvie was prohibited to contact him mentally or approach him physically since Kezess Indrath regarded that their contact will inhibit Sylvie’s growth as an Asura.
After their training in Epheotus, Sylvie was allowed to be with Arthur as before. Sylvie became much wiser and more mature after her training with her Grandfather. Sylvie also gained the ability to converse freely using her mouth. She was extremely cautious and always looked out for Arthur whom she regarded as someone who tends to attract all sorts of troubles. She also became quite sarcastic after the training as she mocked Arthur several times.
With the help of Sylvie, Arthur defeated Jagrette, a retainer. During the fight with Uto, another retainer, Sylvie was badly injured and would've died if Seris, a scythe didn't help Arthur. After absorbing mana from Uto's horn, Sylvie gained the appearance of a human, which all Indrath clan members possessed. This surprised Arthur greatly and he felt like his distance with his bond has widened. Later on, she helps Arthur in the battle at the Wall, in which they emerged victorious, yet Arthur's father is killed because of Trodius Flamesworth treason. She was able to sense Arthur's grieve and tried to comfort him. Thereafter, the war is lost and she discovered her father Agrona was able to possess her for a limited time and when it happened, Arthur begged him to spare his family in exchange for his servitude out of despair. After getting back her control over her body, Sylvie responds by slapping Arthur part for not telling her and part to snap him out of his despair. Sylvie sacrificed herself for Arthur during the fight with Cadell, a scythe, and Elijah Knight, Nico Sever's reincarnation. She gave Arthur her physical body and then transformed into a translucent rainbow stone that contains her soul. Arthur believes that he can bring back Sylvie by putting in more and more pure Aether continuously into the stone. That is also one of Arthur’s driving factors to get stronger, hoping his beloved bond can once again be with him. Needless to say, Arthur blames himself for Sylvie's condition and has developed a hobby of blankly looking into the stone from time to time, thinking about Sylvie. Arthur was later shocked upon hearing from Sylvia's message that Sylvia's love and Sylvie's Father is the Basilisk Agrona Vritra, his dreadful enemy. Arthur once said that thanks to Sylvie he has gained the power to challenge Agrona and Kezess. Later on, with the help from Aldir and Mordain, Arthur revives her and is happy to have his beloved bond back with him again.
Tessia Eralith[]
Tessia is Arthur's childhood friend and current love interest. When Arthur was four, he was lost in the Forest of Elshire in Elenoir and accidentally came across a five-year-old Tessia kidnapped by slave traders. As Arthur followed the slave traders and watched them closely, he successfully carried out a plan for the elf princess escape.[2] After about an hour of consoling Tessia, he agreed to help her and escort her back to her kingdom safely. During their one-week travel, they slowly began to grow closer and started learning more about their respective races. Arthur also allowed Tessia to call him Art. At the same time, he was permitted to call her Tess.[3] Immediately upon reaching her home, Tessia was revealed to be the sole princess of the Kingdom of Elenoir, which she kept hidden from Arthur during their travel. Although many elves were wary about a human child residing in the elven kingdom, Arthur was permitted to reside in the royal castle during his training under Virion Eralith as his only disciple. Ecstatic by the fact that Arthur was going to stay, Tessia grew incredibly attached to Arthur, because he was her only friend, and they spent time together almost every day.[4][5][6] During his stay in the Kingdom of Elenoir, Arthur and Tessia grew even closer, to the point where she would often barge into his room to wake him up. When Tessia awakened at the age of nine, she was provided a mentor and began combat training with Virion alongside Arthur. Though Tessia knew that Arthur was bound to return to the Kingdom of Sapin, she was still devastated the day she heard Arthur's departure date. With tears welling up in her eyes, Tessia embraced Arthur with a hug and bid him goodbye as Arthur left to return to his family.[7][8]
While Arthur was away in the Kingdom of Sapin, Tessia and Arthur had little to no communication. Arthur would occasionally think about Tessia's well-being and would instinctively compare other young girls to Tessia's appearance.[4] Due to Tessia's constant nagging about Arthur's well-being, she visited Elder Rinia to make sure Arthur was safe and happy. Rinia gave Tessia a water-filled orb that constantly showed Arthur's face to her, which she brings back home. From time to time, Tessia would stare at the orb whenever she thought of or missed Arthur. Tessia was also extremely jealous when Arthur was seen conversing with Lilia Helstea, stating that Tessia was Arthur's friend first. After being caught staring at Arthur's face through the water-filled orb by Virion, Tessia grew red from the thought of marrying Arthur. Afterwards, Virion proposed to Tessia to attend Xyrus Academy, where she would be at the same school as Arthur. Tessia became exhilarated at the thought of going to the same school with Arthur and was determined to enter the academy.[9]
After Arthur's two years of being an adventurer had come to an end, Arthur finally attended Xyrus Academy as a Scholar Student. During the first-years' orientation, Arthur spotted a 13-year-old Tessia on the stage, introducing herself as the Student Council President.[10] Though Tessia is about one year older than Arthur, she was a first-year student, because she spent one year on the Xyrus Academy campus under Cynthia Goodsky's direct tutelage to improve as a Conjurer. Due to this fact, Arthur began hearing numerous whispers about the esteemed Tessia Eralith and students enamored by her exquisite beauty.[11] While Tessia wished for their reunion to be more romantic and celebratory, Arthur was caught in the middle of a duel and forcefully stopped by an authoritative Tessia. They started a small quarrel, which left both of them feeling unsettled about their reunion. Tessia was worried that Arthur would start hating her. At the same time, Arthur was worried that he might have been too harsh on her.[12] Later on, Arthur was engaged in a fight with a second-year which was again, forcefully stopped by Tessia. After disrupting Tessia's dangerous spell, Arthur was left alone with Tessia inside of the school cafeteria. In attempts to apologize, both of them bowed their heads simultaneously, which left large bumps on both of their foreheads. While Tessia was crying over the possibility that Arthur might hate her, Arthur embraced Tessia in a hug to assure her that he could never hate her. The two of them stood still, embraced in a hug before they were disrupted by Elijah Knight. After being left alone once again, they reconciled while walking together back to the dorms. Before Arthur went back into his dorm room, he handed Tessia the Elderwood Guardian beast core with it’s beast will still contained inside it.[13][14]
During a class taught by Professor Glory, Tessia and Arthur were put on opposing teams for a mock battle. While Tessia was skillfully defeating Curtis Glayder, she suddenly went pale right before his final attack and fainted. During this time, Arthur was busy fighting against Lucas Wykes but was notified by Sylvie of Tessia's condition before she fainted. Witnessing Tessia's pale face himself, Arthur then decided to activate Static Void, Phase One of Sylvia's will, and save Tessia by wrapping his body around Tessia while using what little remaining mana he had left to create a barrier against the attack from Curtis.[15] As Arthur was in the middle of recovering from his injuries, Tessia visited him as her body was in a much better state than his due to Arthur's protection barrier. Right after Arthur's family visited and left, Tessia gained the courage to sneak in a kiss, while Arthur was unable to move his body due to his injuries.[16] Due to the mental age gap, Arthur began feeling guilty about enjoying the kiss and was left wondering if they should date or not.[17] After a couple of days had passed, Arthur finally met up with Tessia to help her assimilate her beast will.[18] Inside of the private training room Cynthia Goodsky had provided them, Arthur begins explaining that he believes they should remain friends, due to their young age. Being childhood friends made Arthur state that he had never looked at or thought of her as anything more than a childhood friend. Tessia was infuriated after listening to Arthur's pathetic explanation. She retorted back, stating that though Arthur was extremely talented in many fields, he was awful when it came to confronting his feelings. She also states that due to his confidence in other skills, Arthur masks his insecurities and refuses to face them. After being left alone, Arthur felt uneasy about confronting Tessia in his next class with her but was alarmed when he found out that Tessia had skipped the class due to being sick. After collecting his thoughts, Arthur decided to confront Tessia once more to sort out his feelings. He apologized for making excuses and earnestly confessed that he reciprocated Tessia's feelings. However, he asks Tessia to be patient and wait a couple of years for him to mature enough to accept his feelings. He promises her that he will not find another girl by initiating a kiss. Afterward, Tess smiles and tells him to not make her wait for too long.[19]
As Arthur and Tessia slowly began getting closer both physically and emotionally, the time for Tessia's full assimilation came near. As Tessia's body was entering the final stages of her assimilation, a complication occurred, which heavily worried Arthur.[20] Inside the private training ground provided by Cynthia Goodsky, Arthur witnessed Tessia's body fully covered in uncontrollable vines with a thick, dark aura surrounding her.[21] After successfully assimilating her body and taking control of the power of the Elderwood Guardian, Tessia fell into a deep slumber and was taken back home to the elven kingdom and later escorted by Arthur to the Helstea House to rest.[22][23][24] As Tessia left the Helstea House to return to Xyrus Academy and catch up on work as the Student Council President, she was kidnapped by Lucas Wykes. Due to her little control over her beast's will, Tessia was unable to fight back, using any of her powers.[24] She was assaulted and beat up by Lucas, which resulted in her face being battered and bruised while her clothes were messed up and torn. She was taken to the Xyrus Academy campus, where she was dragged by her hair and held as a hostage by the radicals.[25] As Tessia was nearly defiled by Lucas, Arthur finally arrived at the scene just in time to save her. While the bruises and scars on Tessia's skin were surface wounds, her condition was not too bad, other than being drugged with an anesthetic to keep her unconscious. Enraged by the actions of Lucas, Arthur manifests all four elements, including his deviants, announcing to the school that he is a Quadra-elemental mage. He overpowers and completely dominates Lucas and ends up killing him.[26] Arthur ends up crushing both his legs past the mid-thigh, dismembering and cauterizing his left arm past the elbow, freezing and crushing Lucas's right arm, crushing his genitals along with the pelvic bone, and more.[27] Thus, Arthur was stripped of his title as a mage, his mana core was restrained, and he was incarcerated.[28] Later on, Windsom freed Arthur from prison, yet due to his required training in Epheotus, he was unable to say goodbye to Tessia. Instead, he made sure of Tessia's well-being before he left.[29]
During Arthur's training with Wren Kain IV, Tessia appeared as a hostage held by a black-horned asura. Seeing Tessia's condition and worried state, Arthur hurriedly activated Slyvia's will, wasting precious mana on one elf princess. After realizing that both Tessia and the black-horned asura were fake, Arthur confessed to Wren that there are people he considers more important than anyone else, including himself.[30]
Time skip to when Tessia is 17 and is living amid a war between the Alacryans and the Dicathens. Tessia grew from a princess to a soldier and was ordered to investigate and eliminate an S-class mana beast deep within one of the dungeons of the Beast Glades. Along with her fighting squad, Tessia prepared herself as she went through the teleportation gate, only to find Arthur standing on top of a pile of lifeless mana beasts, including the S-class mana beast she was supposed to kill together with her army.[31][32] Having Arthur return from his training thrilled Tessia, but the sight of his appearance made chills crawl up her spine. Tessia stared at Arthur's unrecognizable face and was scared to call out to him as she felt unease in her chest. After showering and bathing, Arthur returned to the campsite tent to see Tessia, only for her to start crying during their encounter. Though Tessia was angry, frustrated, and embarrassed, she was mostly relieved to have him back as he carried a sense of safety and victory for the war.[33] Due to Arthur's position and relations with the council members, Tessia and Arthur could not spend much time together during the war. While Arthur was away busy with council meetings on battle strategies, Tessia was off on the grounds fighting alongside her fighting squad. However, after Tessia and her squadron were caught in a surprise attack, she was quickly ordered to return to safety through a teleportation gate where Arthur was waiting eagerly and impatiently for her. Once Arthur saw Tessia walk through the teleportation gate, he quickly embraced her in his arms and escorted her to a place to rest. During her rest, Tessia woke up in time from her sleep to hear Arthur and Virion arguing about revealing the truth of Cynthia's death. Knowing fully well that Tessia overheard their conversation, Arthur and Virion take Tessia to see Cynthia and pay their respects. While they approach the door to Cynthia's burial, Tessia asks why Virion kept this fact hidden from her. She felt betrayed, and as Cynthia's only disciple, she felt she deserved to know when her master passed away. Tessia begins pointing out, that despite everything she did to show that she was mature, Virion was still treating her like a child. Unexpectedly, Arthur wholeheartedly and randomly announces that he thinks that Tessia is still a child. With anger fuming out of her, Tessia felt betrayed by Arthur's statement, noting that Arthur was still a full year younger than her. However, Arthur shouts that if Tessia had taken a minute to digest the information and observe the situation, she would have come to realize why Virion had kept it a secret from her. Arthur followed up by explaining that had Virion revealed that her precious mentor was killed by their enemy in the safest location in the continent, Tessia would have charged right into battle with her head full of revenge and getting herself killed. Tessia became quiet after she failed to refute his heated speech and was left alone with Virion as a guard escorted Arthur out.[34]Later, they meet again during Arthur's introduction as a new lance but they did not interact and Tessia gave him a sharp look, then left. After Arthur's battle with Jagrette she goes to check up on him as he was heavily injured, effectively reconciling and holding hands, but were interupted by the Eralith‘s and Eleanor, which embarrassed Tessia. Afterwards, she helps him in the party, which was held because of his victory against the retainer. Following that, he checks up on her before going on a mission with the dwarvern lances and Aya. As of Chapter 212 of the novel, Arthur has finally returned his feelings to Tessia, believing that he had always had these feelings for her but was only trying to force them down. They have now made a promise to survive the war and start a relationship and family. Thereafter, both Arthur and Tessia are deeply traumatized as Tessia made a rash decision in the war, which led to her demotion and Arthur is haunted by the death of his father. Arthur tries to comfort her and encourage her by accepting her mistakes and moving on. When she hugs him, her skin is laid bare to engage in intimacy with him, but Arthur denies her saying that he wants to do it properly when they are not using it as means to escape, yet he kisses her instead. Later, Arthur breaks down completely as he is still haunted by the loss of his father. She holds him to comfort him, keeping him sane and anchored. Later, the war is lost, because of Alduin's treason. As for why Alduin did this, the beastwill Arthur gave to Tessia is corrupted by Agrona's experiments hence Alduin had no choice but to help Agrona in order to get the antidote. As a consequence, Tessia is almost captured, but was saved thanks to Rinia's divination powers. Tessia goes to save her parents, yet finds the death bodies of her parents instead. On her way back to the sanctuary, she was ambushed by Nico, yet Arthur came in time to save her . Afterwards, they fight desperately to return back to the sanctuary. Arthur even got the upper hand once he used his third stage, yet once Cadell enters the battle Arthur wasn’t able to beat both. He managed to send Tessia back to the Sanctuary, but Arthur and Sylvie weren’t able to make it back, hence why everyone presumed that they were dead. Tessia blames herself for Arthur's apparent death since Arthur was trying to save her from Nico and Cadell. Tessia matures considerably and sacrifices herself to Nico in exchange for Ellie's life, hoping Arthur would forgive her. After Cecilia's reincarnation, she lost control of her body, but remains in Cecilia's mind. Arthur after discovering this, feels guilty and conflicted over his feelings and Tessia's situation. He vows to save Tessia one day. In the Victoriad, Arthur and Tessia meet again, but Cecilia was controlling Tessia's body and gave Arthur a distrustful look from Tessia's eyes, because of Agrona's brainwashing, which hurt Arthur's psychic. Arthur tries to kill her, but Tessia takes control for a moment and caresses his face. As a consequence, Arthur fails to kill her, but escapes from the Victoriad and vows to help her one day. Unbeknowst to Arthur, Cecilia in Tessia's body falls in a trap set by Seris that makes Cecilia absorb all of Orleath's mana, which causes Cecilia to enter the Integrate stage in Tessia's body. This allows Tessia and her beastwill to be released from Cecilia's mind and enables her to learn of Arthur's past life. Nevertheless she still loves him. Currently, Tessia is partially free from being trapped inside Cecilia’s mind, but can not fully controll her body yet. After being trapped in Cecilia's mind and watching Arthur's past life, Tessia has become more calmer and wiser after this rather painful experience. As of now Tessia is waiting for the right moment to strike against Agrona to regain control of her body to fulfill her promise with Arthur, indicating that there is still hope for them to be together in the future.
Elijah Knight[]
His self-proclaimed "best friend." They first meet at the rank examination when Arthur signs up as an adventurer. He is the closest person Arthur has to a brother in this life. Ironically, his rage for Lucas Wykes attacking Tessia overlapped with his anger from his past life when Grey-in other words, Arthur-kills Cecilia. In the present, Elijah remembers his memories as Nico. He and Arthur are now mutual enemies. Nico, aka. Elijah fights against Arthur and Arthur would have won if not for Cadell's intervention before Sylvie sacrifices herself to save Arthur from dying. Later Elijah discovers his survival in Alacrya as a mysterious ascender called Grey much to his rage then he makes an alliance with an alacryan noble called blood granbhels against Arthur and Arthur kills the nobles. Later Elijah challenges Arthur at the victoriad and he gets defeated in one blow. Ironically this blow awakens his memories from his time with Arthur together at Xyrus and his hatred for Arthur have lessend also figured out Agrona is manipulating him. As if now Elijah is secretly plotting against the vritra leader to free Tessia and Cecilia. It is possible if he meets with Arthur again they might reconcile their differences.
Lilia Helstea[]
Lilia Helstea is Arthur's childhood friend. After helping Lilia awaken as a conjurer, he largely did not interact with her until Eleanor's birthday, where it is revealed that Lilia has feelings for Arthur. However, he deems these feelings as something more similar to gratitude. Although Lilia was part of the student council, he did not speak with her very often during his time at Xyrus Academy. During the war with Alacrya, her family was mentioned to have gone far away(?). Later after Arthur's apparent death like everyone she is affected by his death however when he returns to take Xyrus back she embraces him in tears glad to have him back.
Curtis Glayder[]
Arthur has had few interactions with Curtis. They first met at the Helstea's auction home, where the king's personal conjurer, Sebastian tries to take Sylvie away from Arthur. They meet once again in chapter 81 of the webcomic, where Curtis vaguely remembers the first time they met. His impression of Arthur was that he was a strange but good person.
Kathyln Glayder[]
Kathyln Glayder is the princess of the Kingdom of Sapin whom Arthur meets for the first time at the Helstea auction house. Although the two didn't speak much at the time, Kathyln took note of his behavior and initially associated it with immaturity, but then realized he was different from other boys his age after Arthur's two-year adventure with Jasmine Flamesworth came to an end. They both meet during Arthur's confrontation with a group of bullies. After dealing with them, she would even ask Arthur for "tea"; a fancy term used by nobility to ask someone out. Arthur then becomes comrades with her in Xyrus Academy in the Disciplinary Committee.
Caera Denoir[]
Caera Denoir is an Alacryan noble Arthur met in his first ascent in the Relictombs, where they temporarily team up with each other. During this time, she takes interest in Arthur. Arthur once again meets Caera right before his second ascent in the Relictombs, where she is disguised as Haedrig, and guides him along the way. Eventually, her disguise wears off and her identity is revealed. Later Caera is accompanying Arthur and she is also Arthur's co-worker in the Central Academy. According to Arthur himself, if she did not find him, he would have lost his empathy toward the Alacryans. During the Victoriad they meet Seris confusing her and then their relationship became distant after he cripples Nico, kills Cadell and escapes from Agrona. He regrets not telling her about his real identity. Later she discovers his real identity that he is a dicathin but she forgives him and she partcipates with Seris in a full scale rebellion against Agrona after they incapcitate Orleath. Later she is sent by Seris to bring him to Alacrya for help and Caera succeds but they are yet to meet.

So that Chul avenge his mother Dawn who is imprisoned and killed by Agrona.
Mentors[]
Virion Eralith[]
They first meet when Arthur saves Tessia to which Virion was very grateful to him. He took interest in him for his emotional maturity and extraordinary talent as a mage in such young age. He would convince him to stay in the Elven Kingdom for four years to help him tame his beast will given to him by Sylvia. Also Virion enjoys teasing him about his relationship with his granddaughter.
Windsom[]
They have a student-teacher relationship As Arthur considers him his mentor and protector. Windsom is the one who finds Arthur and Sylvie and convinces them to go Epheotus to train for the war with the Vritra. Windsom also tells Arthur about the conflict between the Vritra and the other asura clans, though only telling him half of the truth especially regarding Sylvie's Lineage and the reason of Agrona's madness. He keeps an eye on them to ensure their safety and provides them with resources to get stonger. When they were imprisoned by the quasi-corrupt council for the murder of Lucas but also because of the Dwarves collabrution with Agrona. He freed them after Aldir kills the traitors Queen and King Greysunders. Afterwards, he takes him to visit his family also gifting Eleanor with Boo theb takes them to Epheotus to train and he is impressed with Arthur's growth in training and luck as Lady Myre agreed to train Arthur for a short while. When Arthur discovered the whole truth of Windsom's words, he did not blame him for keeping it hidden, but Kezess Indrath. When they meet after the destruction of the Elven Kingdom, Arthur asks if he tried to stop Kezess's orders, but Windsom said he was making sure that Aldir completes the mission. As of now Arthur holds a strong animosity against him, but maintains a civilized attitude towards him and is planning to make Windsom pay for his crimes.
Kordri[]
They met when Arthur was brought to him by Windsom to train for the war. Kordri was impressed by Arthur's talent, mentality and will power. Kordri did not look down on Arthur for being a lesser and acknowledged him. Arthur was also the first student to make him him feel pride, awe, excitement and many other emotions. But he was sad that Arthur has not been born an Asura, because that way he will always have the lesser being's[35] limitations. Unbeknownst to Kordri as of now, Arthur has become a human with an asuran physique after merging with Sylvie's physical body, so he is no longer bound by the so-called lesser being's limitations. It is expected that if they meet again, Kordri will respect him even more. Arthur also considers Kordri to be his first real mentor.
Myre[]
she is his care taker and mentor in using realmheart. They first meet when she used her healing vivum on Arthur to heal his shattering legs from using burststep. He was confused who she was to her amusement but she comforted him later teaching him theortically in mana and practically in realmheart after his recovery. He regarded her trainning as hellish and her true personality is that of a demonic entity as she made Kordri's training like a puppy training session. But regardless he was still grateful for her help. Later, before his return to Dicathen he discovers her postion to be the queen of the Indrath clan to his shock but to her amusement. Arthur regards Myre as one of the most kindest beings from the Indrath clan besides Sylvia and according to Kezess himself she has some kind of attachment to Arthur. Lances[]
Alea Triscan[]
They have a short conversation when she was dying because of Uto. She gives him information that will help him later against the Vritra. Ultimately, Arthur is deeply affected by her death, despite having little to no prior interactions with her.
Aya Grephin[]
They have a friendly relationship and mutual respect for one another. They first meet when she delivers him a message in his cell during his unjust imprisonment for killing Lucas Wykes. They do not meet again until three years later when he returns to fight in the war. He officially meets her and speaks friendly to her when he is publicly announced as a Lance. They get along quite well and both worry for each other's well-being, as all the lances do. After the war is lost, she is, as every other lance, affected by his apparent death. They never meet again, as she sacrifices her life in the fight against Taci. Arthur is deeply affected by her death and blames himself for not arriving earlier.
Varay Aurae[]
They have a heart-to-heart relationship and respect each other. They first meet at Xyrus Academy when she stops Bairon from attacking him after he brutally kills Lucas Wykes. After gathering enough testimony, she allows him to be demagnetized, while still handcuffing him and temporarily sealing his core. She is the one who announces the quasi-corrupted council's order to imprison Arthur and strip him of his mage title for using excessive violence in killing Lucas. Arthur however bears no grudge against her, knowing it was the council's orders, and according to him she treated him gently despite being a prisoner, as she released Sylvie from her ice cage to be comfortable and also allowed him to talk to his family twice before taking him to prison. Later, Arthur is released by Windsom to train with the asuras, preparing for the war. They do not meet until three years later when he returns to fight in the war. When they meet again during his introduction as a new lance, he greets her respectfully and she praises him for entering mid-silver stage. They meet again when she attends the celebration for his victory against the retainer Jagrette. She is impressed by his victory. After his battle against Uto, they take a break to train. She spars with him and he manages to make her slightly smile in the end. She still defeats him but praises and acknowledges his strength once again, also giving him advice on his ice magic. After the war is lost, she is temporarily affected by his apparent death after his sacrifice against Cadell and Nico. However, when he returns to save them from the asura Taci, she reunites with him and even embraces him. She is glad to have him back and notes how powerful he has become. Currently they are working together to increase their strength.
Bairon Wykes[]
Initially they were archenemies but later became close comrades. They first meet at Xyrus Academy when he attacks Arthur after brutally killing Lucas Wykes, his brother. Bairon is enraged to see his brother dead and would have killed Arthur if not for the intervention of Olfred and Varay. Even after knowing that Lucas was a maniac and went too far, he still hated Arthur becuase of his pride and lineage as a Wykes. He would have abused Arthur and prevented him from his rights as a prisoner, if not for the intervention of Varay who agreed to all of Arthur's requests. Later, Arthur is detained until further notice. On the day of the sentencing, Bairon rudely escorts Arthur from his cell to the council and threatens him that he will do as much harm to his family as he did to his brother, whereupon Arthur taunts him for arguing with a child. To Bairon's fury, he tells Arthur that he will lose everything, whereupon Arthur taunts him that he is a mighty lance seeking revenge for his mad brother, which enrages Bairon even more. Bairon does not know that his threats are of no avail, since Arthur's family is protected by the elves and Arthur himself is supported by the Asuras. After Arthur's release by Windsom they did not meet for three years. When Arthur returns, they still have a strong animosity towards one another, but he acknowledges that they are valuable allies in the war. Bairon does not trust Arthur at all, which later proved critical at the battle of Etistin Bay. After Arthur's sacrifice in the battle against Nico and Cadell, he seemingly begins to regret the way he treated him while having to protect Arthur's sister Eleanor. When Arthur returns to save them from Taci[36], Bairon is in tears and embraces Arthur, much to Arthur's surprise. After the battle for Vildorial, Bairon apologizes to Arthur and admits that he no longer hates him for his brother's death and for everything else, which Arthur accepts and also admits that he went too far in killing Lucas since they have now become closer.
