Broznean Boor is a first year battle mage student at Xyrus Academy.

Appearance

Broznean has a bulky build and short stature, being a head shorter than a human around his age named Nicolas. He has dark brown hair with bushy eyebrows and blue eyes. He wears the standard battle mage uniform.

Personality

Broznean is impulsive, as seen when he rashly starts a duel after being taunted by Nicolas. He does not like being belittled, especially about his dwarven origin.

Season 4

Through the unification of all three races, Broznean, a dwarf, began attending Xyrus Academy. After the orientation ceremony, he encountered a second year noble named Nicolas Dreyl, a human who started to ridicule Broznean's capabilities as an augmenter and declared dwarves unfit to be warriors. Falling for Nicolas' taunting, Broznean declared a duel between him and Nicolas. While Broznean managed to hold his own against the arrogant noble with the use of his Tremor Smash, Nicolas gained the upper hand by throwing dirt in Broznean's face, and unleashing his Earth Pillar to pierce him while Broznean was off guard. When the duel concluded in Nicolas's victory, the sinister noble attempted to cripple Broznean while he was down, until another student named Arthur as well as the student council president Tessia Eralith interfered.

Broz is later seen taking Practical Mana Manipulation classes with Arthur.

Relationships

Nicolas Dreyl

Broznean is hostile against Nicolas. He feels upset at Nicolas mocking his short stature and potential as an augmenter and insulting the dwarven occupation of forging weapons.

Abilities & Skills

Broznean can be considered a promising mage as he was capable of elemental magic despite only being a black core mage. His physical strength is also noteworthy as he was able to push back his opponents as well as swing his battle axe with relative ease. However, his hot temper and pride can be considered a weakness as he was easily manipulated into accepting a duel when he was insulted. Broznean's fighting style is overwhelming as he will unleash his full power in battle as well as give his opponents no time to counter. His skills were great enough that Nicolas resorted to underhanded tactics just to get an opening on Broz.

Augmenter: Broznean is an augmenter mage, someone who can use magic within their bodies to enhance their attacks but is also able to shoot out magic after reaching a certain level. Broznean is shown to be quite powerful in his own right, as he was capable of fighting with and even pushing back Nicolas, who was already considered a gifted student even for a second year student.

Earth-Elemental: Despite being a Black core mage, Broznean has a single specialization in earth magic. Due to his dwarven lineage, his affinity for earth magic is much higher than that of a human or elf, and as such is capable of wielding elemental magic at his stage.

• Tremor Smash: Broznean channels a large amount of mana into the head of his axe before smashing it down at his opponent causing a tremor.
  • To manifest the spell, Broznean chants: "Harness the power of the earth and unleash those who stand in my way..."
• Shatter: Broznean stomps his foot to the ground and creates a ripple that distorts the earth around him. This was seen in his fight against Nicolas where Broznean shattered Nicolas's earth blades that he manifested.

Battle Axe: Broznean wields a battle axe in combat. Broznean is shown to use devastating tremors and shockwaves whenever he utilizes his axe, to overwhelm his opponents.
