Godrunes are aetheric abilities that enable their users to exert particular control over aether. Insight, which can be obtained either directly from the user through experience or indirectly through Keystones that help the user enter an environment conducive to gaining insight, is necessary in order to utilize these runes. The names or histories of the runes, as well as past knowledge and information revealed by previous users, are all provided by godrunes. Godrunes take on the appearance they do based on how the user conceptualizes the abstract nature of that particular branch of aether. For instance, Arthur's destruction rune takes on the appearance it does because that is how he views the concept of destruction.

"Though the Djinn mastered spellform in order to draw in and manipulate aether, true mastery and the organic appearance of Godrunes only come through major insight." - The Crystal, Chapter 280.

Known Godrunes[]

Destruction (Vivum)- It became an all-consuming flame through Regis and Arthur Leywin. The user is forced to unleash Destruction on everyone and everything as a result of it making them irrational and violent.

"I spun with a poorly suppressed sense of giddiness, spreading the wave of Destruction haphazardly in every direction." - Arthur Leywin, Chapter 390

Realmheart (Vivum) - Allows the user to see mana in ambient space as well as its relationship to the aether around it. Willing the ambient aether between the mana particles allows the user to manipulate mana and control the flow of spells.

"The smell of sweat and ozone, the sight of mana particles rolling and tumbling out of Mica's core, the sound of Bairon's heavy breathing, and even the weight of my own body pushing down on the ground beneath me all wove into one intertwined tapestry of sensation." Arthur Leywin, Chapter 387.

Aroa’s Requiem (Aevum) - It can reverse time on inorganic objects. Further insight and complete mastery of Aroa's Requiem can even bring back living things or turn back time with no limit on how long the person or item has been broken or died.

"Sparkling purple motes danced along my arm and across the pedestal, scouring the cracks, burns, and claw marks and leaving behind unblemished stone." - Arthur Leywin, Chapter 351.

Static Void(Aevum): It allows the user to freeze time for everything by using the aether around them; however, this does not apply to anyone who can use aether in the same way as them. While Static void is active, frozen individuals or items cannot be interacted with, and the mana particles in the atmosphere are also frozen.

𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗶𝘁(𝗘𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗻) - Manifested as a golden crown on top of the users head, this Godrune allows the user to split their thoughts into several threads in which the user can actively think about multiple subjects all at once. It also provides the added benefit of increasing the users thinking speed and a resistance to overloading info coming to the users brain. However, once the godrune is deactivated, the user will feel groggy and incoherent.

Godstep (Spatium) - Manifested as purple lightning, similar to Arthur's thunderclap impulse. Allows the user to step through aetheric paths to location. Deeper understanding of this rune allows for teleportation through doors and walls if the user is familiar with the destination.

"That single, divine step brought me behind the entity, aether crackling from my body in branches of violet lightning." - Arthur Leywin, Chapter 289.
