Jagrette is the first retainer Arthur has faced, in the Town of Slore. Her Scythe is Viessa Vritra and she possesses an almost maniacal envy over her beauty.
Appearance[]
Jagrette is tall, sickly thin, and pale. She wears a sparkling black dress and a ceramic doll-like face mask. Her hair is long black and scraggly tied in two ponytails which hang behind her head. A bow is tied at each end of each ponytail. She also has a bump above her forehead under her hair, which is a small Vritra Horn
Personality[]
Jagrette was atleast somewhat unhinged and crazy. After her mask broke she starting freaking out mid battle, and ignored Arthur while she tried to fix the mask.
Abilities[]
Plant Magic: Jagrette's plant magic had a corrosive attribute, A combination of plant and corrosive magic. Arthur said her mana had a seaweed or murky green color to it.
Corrosive touch: Her touch had corrosive properties which we saw when she grabbed Arthur by the neck and permanently scarred him.
Corrosive hands: Jagrette could conjure disfigured hands with vine like arms of mana to grab, push and corrode whatever they touched, they were usually conjured from the ground or the trunks and branches of nearby trees.
Corrosive Aura: She would form an Aura of corrosive plant mana which would corrode incoming attacks. The aura was so corrosive that Dawns Ballad was permanently damaged from just a single attack against the Aura. When damaged, a poisonous smoke cloud would form as the aura dissipated, blocking vision and causing extreme pain when inhaled. After being hit it seemed to take a few seconds to fully reform the aura again.
Corrosive Smoke: She could also release a smoke cloud similar to the one released from her aura, as an attack.
Tree Movement: Jagrette could inhabit trees and branches and quickly move through them. While using this ability she could move so quickly that Arthur was unable to follow her movements when they fought.
Tree Healing: By putting her hand into a tree she was able to heal it from previous damage but as a result leaving the tree with a gaping hole. It is assumed that she could heal more serious injuries in the same manner as she tried to jump into a tree during her fight with Arthur, but she was unable to reach a tree before her fight ended.
