Jarrod Redner is a scholar mage student of Xyrus Academy and the Treasurer of the Student Council.
Appearance[]
Jarrod is a tall boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. He is considered handsome by most girls attending Xyrus Academy, as many would scream after seeing him walk past by. As a scholar mage student, as well as a member of the student council, Jarrod wears the standard scholar mage uniform with a white half-cloak over his upper torso.
Personality[]
Jarrod is formal and friendly, wearing a charming smile on his face whether to it's genuine or to mask his true emotions. Jarrod can be considered blunt as he openly expresses how he likes Lilia and his constant pursute of her. He is resilient and refuses to give up after being rejected by Lilia. He harbors a small sense of jealousy towards Arthur since Lilia's attention is mostly directed at Arthur.
Abilities & Skills[]
As a student of Xyrus Academy and part of the Student Council, Jarrod is indicated to be a promising student due to being personally chosen by the Academy's Director to join the Student Council. As Treasurer of the Student Council, Jarrod is in charge of recording all finances of the student body.
Augmenter: Jarrod is an Augmenter mage, therefore someone who can use magic within their bodies to enhance their attacks but is also able to shoot out magic after reaching a certain level. Jarrod is indicated to be a competent mage and can manipulate and shape his mana into a variety of different weaponry.
Wind Elemental: Jarrod has a single specialization in the attribute of Wind. While he is not shown using his power until much later into the series, Jarrod is shown to be a master of wind magic as he is capable of forming a variety of different offensive wind spells. Jarrod seems to specialize in long range fighting as most of his wind spells are projectiles.
- Air Disk (unnamed): Jarrod launches a sharp disk of condensed air.
- Air Spear (unnamed): Jarrod creates a spear of condensed air.
- Air Crescents (unnamed): Jarrod creates crescents of condensed air that he launches at his opponents, like blades.
- Air Shield (Unnamed): Jarrod creates a shield made of wind.
- Air Onslaught (unnamed): Jarrod creates a tunnel of wind which breaks apart into spinning disks and cutting crescents of condensed air.[1]

Notes & Trivia[]
- While Jarrod is a relatively minor character in the original novel, his role is significantly downplayed in the webcomic. Jarrod is not in attendance at Eleanor Leywin's birthday party, nor does he meet Arthur at any point. He is also not seen with the Student Council when confronting Arthur and Nicolas Dreyl.
