Lyra Dreide was Cadell's retainer and Regent of Dicathen after Cadell's death. She handed the title off to Arthur Leywin as well as her holdings in Dicathen after he confronted her in Etistin and joined his side.

She was dressed in Alacrya's gray and red uniform when she first appeared. Her eyes purple and her hair the color of fire, seemingly moving like a flickering candle flame.
