The Scythes are the strongest warriors in Alacrya. The Six Scythes are all awakened Vritra Blooded Alacryans, and are extremely powerful. Each Scythe has their own retainer. With the knowledge that Uto, a Retainer, can be taken down by a single Scythe, it has been made obvious that the Scythes have immense strength. During the fight at the castle against Cadell, it is shown just how strong the Scythes truly are, with Cadell forcing Arthur to retreat. We also discovered the politic impact of a Scythe when Seris began her rebellion. Originally four scythes were mentioned to exist by Cynthia. Arthur overheard a fifth scythe was added recently, which we later learned was Nico(Elijah Knight). As of the Victoriad, we have learned that there are a total of six Scythes, the time that the final person became a scythe is unknown. The six scythes are Cadell, Dragoth, Melzri, Nico(Elijah Knight), Seris, and Viessa.
