The Wraiths are Agrona's private army, kept so secret that most of Alacryan's think their existence is a myth to scare toddlers. The Wraiths are the offspring of Basilisks and Vritra-Blooded Alacryan's. In other words, Vritra Half-Bloods, whose blood has manifested. As the regular Alacryan army, the wraiths are divided in squads of five. Arthur killed an entire squad of wraiths in the dwarven capital, Vildorial, sent by Agrona to capture or kill Arthur, ultimately resulting in failure. According to Seris, one squad is capable of taking down an accomplished Asuran warrior.

Ancient Wraiths[]
Later, it is revealed by Kezess Indrath that Wraiths used to be their own separate race with the other eight asuran races.[1] During the warring period for land in Epheotus, the wraiths were known to be an asuran race of war. They eventually found Dicathen and set up their own civilization. However, their established civilization was eventually brought to attention by the Dragons, and they deemed them too dangerous to be left alive. So the dragons exterminated the wraith race in one fell swoop and manipulated the lands of Dicathen to eat up their civilization so that the other lesser races wouldn't be able to replicate their asuran structures and know of their existence. Not much is known about them physically, such as their appearance or their mana arts. Though it can be inferred that they have a close resemblance to the basilisks due to their decay mana arts, dark appearance which is similar to basilisks, and Agrona's desire to make wraiths with his own race mixed with Vritra-Blooded Alacryans.
